I’m Al Wiedmann Jr., owner of Wiedmann Law LLC, a small patent law firm located in Old Town in Fort Collins, Colorado.
After 19 years with a boutique law firm, I ventured out on my own. My firm’s goal is to provide exceptional representation to patent clients at a reasonable cost by: implementing, as much as possible, lesser-known strategies to streamline application prosecution; leveraging technology to reduce the “behind-the-scenes” administrative effort (saving you legal fees); promptly responding to Patent Office actions so as to avoid late fee payments; front-loading applications to reduce prosecution workload and obstacles; clearly describing technical nuance via thoughtfully crafted text and drawings (never underestimate the power of a good drawing); and learning client goals in order to focus effort and avoid waste.
